Mr. FARAH ABDELOUAHED
Dr. Abdelouhed Farah is a young, impact-driven geologist and scholar from Kelaat M’gouna, a small town in the southeastern region of Morocco. His academic journey began at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Applied Geology in 2014, followed by a Master’s in Exploration and Valorization of Mineral Resources in 2016 and a doctorate in geology and environment in 2022. Dr. Farah’s insatiable passion for learning drove him to pursue another bachelor’s in civil engineering which he completed in 2023.
Over the past several years, Dr. Farah has penned over 20 scientific articles on a wide range of subjects, including the hydrothermal alteration of the upper cretaceous’ sedimentology and stratigraphy, GIS digital mapping and the geodynamic evolution of sedimentary basins, among others. During his studies, Dr. Farah worked with various mining companies, a unique work experience that allowed him to immerse himself in the worlds of resource prospecting and valorization. Not only did this work experience allow him to learn how to draft comprehensive geology and hydrology project reports, but it also allowed him to learn how to carry out mining heritage evaluations and environmental impact studies. In 2023, Dr. Farah launched GeoAnalysis, a geology-focused consulting and services company that has allowed him to realize his dream of merging scientific research with innovative fieldwork.
As an impact-driven scientist and entrepreneur, Dr. Farah is always eager to share the knowledge and wisdom he has accumulated through his academic and entrepreneurial experiences because he believes that Morocco’s most precious and valuable resource is its youth.

Geo-Analysis is a newly established engineering consultancy in Marrakech. This independent consulting office is the brainchild of a group of young graduates who bring their vast experience in applied geology, including mining geology, hydrology/ hydrogeology, cartography, metallogeny, and environmental studies, to offer professional tests, studies, and expertise in the field. With a shared passion for applied geology, the team at Geo-Analysis is driven by energy, dynamism, and exceptional skills as they strive to deliver reliable solutions and meet the diverse demands of their clients.
